Amateur celebrates curiosity, ancestral memory, and the courage to create without waiting for permission. An overturned chair, painted with an intentionally awkward perspective, honours the honesty of self-taught practice. Its woven rattan seat carries a quiet tribute to my Italian family, who migrated to Argentina in search of a better life.
The chair has fallen because someone has already leapt towards their dream. This is a painting about choosing passion over perfection, asking “what if?”, and taking up the space where you belong.
